How technology disrupts competition in Biological Systems.

Daniel Schmachtenberger, in episode 7 of the Jim Rutt show, deploys the concept of Asymmetric Evolutionary Pressure initially brought to his attention by Forrest Landry.

Even when the increased competition capabilities that technological development brings to a tech-enabled-specie are quite evident, the analysis of the complex repercussions of this imbalance require a more nuanced exploration.

The concept behind “Asymmetric Evolutionary Pressure” describes the potential systemic-destabilizing-effect on ecosystems introduced by the use of exponentially accelerated technological developments that overpower the linear dynamics of pure genetic-based adaptations and mutations.

To those interested in having more comprehension, I highly recommend this short edit of Daniel’s hyper-fluent explanation.

Technology… as an Evolutionary Dynamics Disruptor.
