A simple mathematical proof of Free Will.
Proving Sam Harris wrong with simple math.
Imagine I asked you to “ Punch yourself hard enough in your nose so that you could break it ”. Most likely, almost surely, you would not do it.
Now imagine, that I ask you a thousand more times… surely a thousand more times you would refuse. Dang, I might end up being the one being punched but…
Well, there you have it.
The chances of randomly choosing No 1000 times in a row is (1/2) to the 1000th power:
(1/2)¹⁰⁰⁰ ≈ 9.33263618503e-302
So, the probability of randomly selecting the same answer over two possible answers 1000 times in a row is an extremely tiny number, close to zero.
In practical terms, it’s virtually impossible for this to happen by chance.
Sorry not sorry Sam.
PD:
Also, there can’t be Free Speech if there’s no Free Will.
